So as most of you know I have had long hair for most of my life. In fact the only time I have not was a very short time in middle school.  My hair has made me pretty much the person I am today.

Early last week I said that I would cut of all my hair if we raised 500$ in the name of breast cancer awareness. I am proud to say that we have raised well over 1,000$ at this point and thats bad news for the fate of my long curly locks!

This coming thursday at 5:30pm EST, I will be rolling up my sleves, taking a deep breath and cutting of the hair that I have had for almost 12 years!

I am totally happy that I could raise money for a awesome cause! To me now, its much more than the hair, its about doing something that can make a diffrence!

I just wanted to post this in advance so that if anyone wants to come be a part of the fun, it will be taking place at JourneysCoffee house This Thursday at 5:30pm. Who would think that a simple cup of coffee could do much more than give you tour daily fix or quick pick me up.

Working with coffee has always made me happy. I love everything about coffee. The preperarion of quality espeseo, perfecting the art of milk preperation and latte art, the taste of differnt blends, but somthing makes the idea of a coffee house even better for me every time I think of it.

When I have a customer come up and just want their coffee and to be on their way, that’s fine and totally their choice, tho when people spark quality conversation, that’s where I’m coming from. Two people can learn so much from eachother, just over the bar. You can pick someone up if there having a bad day, and they can do the same for you.

A quality cup of coffee only STARTS with the beans. There is a awesome coffee house on the west coast called “counter culture” and I love that name becuae it’s true. It’s a culture of coffee, people and life. That is why a coffee house will always be my place to explore mind and body. And a good cup of coffee if all works out well.

This blog post is in no order, at all, no really its just going to be a ramble to pick up where I have not for the past month or so.

Oh and before I begin, just a FYI…BARACK OBAMA IS OUR NEXT PRESIDENT! sorry…had to do it…

On another note, the media needs to find something to cover, and FAST. Im sick of seeing president bush dodge a flying shoe and that was heading directly at his head. Its just not funny anymore. Now maybe if it HIT him in the head I would not be telling them to stop showing it, because I mean come on thats funny, thats REAL NEWS!

What has been happening with me? Not to much really. Now you may think that just because I have not blogged in a long time means that nothing has happened. Thats not true obviously, tho some things are good to limit because they just are not really fun to read.

I plan on getting my album done very shortly, I have already had interest from a local magazine in reviewing the album. This is a bit of a boost I need I guess to get the thing polished and done. I do know now that the album will cost 5$ and will be hardcover only at first so you will need to contact me for a copy. I plan to have it purchasable online by the new year, hopefully. I have been in talks with a website called trackitdown.net to set up my own digital label. I have owned a digital label in the past and made a tiny chunk of cash off of it. That was then, this is now. I hope to do this again and make a lot more profit on something I have worked so hard to finish.

Christmas is right around the corner and im ready for it. I have a lot of shopping to get done still, that is kinda of stressing me out because everyone is so hard to buy for this year. I got some awesome gifts for people though. I hope everyone will be happy.

We have made some awesome promo videos for Journeys Coffee. Paul did a awesome job of editing them, check youtube soon for them to be uploaded. I will post them here as well in the coming days.

Things have been good, life is pretty awesome currently. A lot of good things are happening for me and for that I am thankful!

As much of a boring blog post this is, you have all pushed me to write one so i did. I will try my hardest to keep posting blogs. As much as some things have frustrated me as of late im sure that will not be a huge problem for me haha.
